Imagine! Houses full of plants!

April 20, Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kilimall Village Elementary School, 80 Donnington Road, Kelowna

ELM CREEK — Indoor Plant Hangers will showcase what’s behind the windows this Friday as they sponsor an Educational Open House at North Okanagan Similkameen School District, 80 Donnington Road, Kelowna.

All plants will be displayed in their indoor protected glass display in a formal Spring Showcase, with fresh produce and flowering plants to support work by North Okanagan Similkameen School District students and staff.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., students will be harvesting eggs from the classroom’s large backyard-scale chickens, plus they’ll have a copy of the entire beautiful history of all our plants on display for all to enjoy.

Celebrating the ongoing commitment to the community by KSSD, the educational and social services departments will be exhibiting examples of home gardening at the spring open house and inviting the public to attend a live demonstration of planting.
